Since 1990, this was the first time I've seen Jonathan Van Ness live. Tom and his remarkable 12 string bass, Robin's voice is as good as it's ever been, and Rick is still chewing up the scenery. The new drummer can play anything the band puts out, even though we miss Bun. San Antonio fans are simply the best, and The Majestic is a beautiful theater. Just good music, no flashy scenery, no lasers, and no pyrotechnics. A little short was my only complaint about the set list. Still the quintessential American rock sound of the late 70s and early 80s is CT.
